What is a Ha Giang Jeep tour?
A Jeep tour is a private way of exploring the Ha Giang Loop without having to ride a motorbike yourself. You travel with your own driver and guide, following smaller mountain roads, villages and borderland areas that are part of the Ha Giang we know and love. For us, the Jeep is not just about getting from one place to another. It gives us the freedom to stop when something interesting happens, visit local families and take quieter roads where possible.

Is a Jeep tour private?
Yes. Our Jeep tours are private, so it is just you, your driver and your guide. We don't put you together with other groups.
This also means we can keep the pace more relaxed and adapt the day depending on what you want to see, how you are feeling and what is happening along the way.
Is it suitable for seniors?
Yes, and this is one of the reasons we offer Jeep tours. The Jeep is a good option for older travellers who want to experience the Ha Giang Loop but don't feel comfortable spending several days on a motorbike. How comfortable is the Jeep?
Our Jeep is a proper Jeep rather than a small open tourist vehicle. There is enough space to sit comfortably and enjoy the landscape, and we use a full cover when needed.
How many people fit in the Jeep?
For comfort, we normally recommend the Jeep for small private groups.
With the driver and guide in the front, there is space for up to three guests in the back. For four or more guests, we normally use two Jeeps rather than putting everyone into one vehicle.
Is the Jeep better than an SUV for certain routes?
They are simply different.
The SUV is more economic and closed, especially during the colder months.
The Jeep gives you a more open feeling and works very well for travellers who want to feel closer to the landscape.
What happens if it rains?
Rain is part of travelling through the mountains, and we don't cancel a trip simply because the weather isn't perfect.
The Jeep can be fully covered, and we adjust the route when necessary. Sometimes rain actually changes the atmosphere of the mountains completely, and some days can be beautiful because of it.
Where does the luggage go?
Generally, we can fit all your luggage inside the Jeep, so you can travel with everything you need during the trip.
If you prefer to leave anything behind, we can safely store your extra luggage at the accommodation we provide for free before the tour starts. We will keep it there for you until you return.
Can we do Ha Giang and Cao Bang by Jeep?
Yes. We offer a private 5-day Ha Giang and Cao Bang Jeep tour, and it is one of our most requested routes. It allows you to combine the Ha Giang borderlands with the landscapes and villages around Cao Bang, ending in Cao Bang city.

Can older travellers do the Ha Giang Loop by Jeep?
Absolutely. Older travellers are actually among our main guests. Many of them come to Ha Giang because they are genuinely curious about the culture, history and people of the region, but they don't want to give up comfort to experience it. For many of our guests, a private Jeep is the perfect balance: you can go deep into the mountains, visit remote villages and discover a side of Ha Giang that feels far from the usual tourist routes, while travelling comfortably and without having to ride a motorbike.
Can I choose the places I want to visit in Ha Giang?
Places like Lung Cu, Ma Pi Leng and Heaven's Gate are beautiful, and you will find them on almost every Ha Giang itinerary you see online. But, be aware, this is also where our approach is different. We don't build our tours around a list of famous viewpoints that you can easily find on Google. Much of what we explore doesn't appear in the usual online guides at all.
